Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde was happy with their 1-1 draw against Sevilla.
Athletic picked up a solid point at a difficult ground, ensuring our best start to a season since 1969.
"Once the team got the equaliser, I thought we would go on to win. We were creating a lot of clear chances," Valverde said after full-time.
"It was an intense match. They played very well and we lacked a bit of drive at the start. We gradually relaxed and did better. In the second half we really went for it and it felt as though we could have won."
Sevilla FC have been a regular in the Champions League places over the past three seasons, and traditionally Athletic have struggled on their trips to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, making the point gained all the sweeter.
Valverde added: "We did well in a difficult match against a team which is playing in the Champions League for good reason.
"We went behind at a tough stadium where the crowd gets on top of you. But I think we did a lot of good work. Our goal always has to be like what it was in the second half: go and win the game."
