Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde insists defeat at Barcelona was undeserved.
Athletic lost 1-0 after Marc Guiu struck on 80 minutes.
"We had it there at times," Valverde said in his post-match press conference. "We got into the final third and did some damage.
"It's a pity because we played really well."
Valverde added: We were good and we put Barcelona under pressure. We just needed to convert some of our chances and score to put a bit of fear into them. Unfortunately, luck went against us at the end as the game was opening up."
