Athletic Bilbao legend Julen Guerrero Lpez is delighted his son is working under the management of Roma coach Jose Mourinho.
Julen Jon Guerrero is on-loan at Roma this season from Real Madrid.
Guerrero Snr told AS: "Yes, he trained for several days with the first team and the truth is that he was treated very well. From what he tells me my son, Mourinho welcomes the youngsters very well, tries to help them. The experience he will accumulate by training with him and with the first team players will certainly benefit him.
"Everything is going well. It's a positive experience: going to another country, being able to experience another way of seeing football, another way of working. It's also an experience on your own, and it helps you grow on a personal level. I think in this case it's about that, that it's a useful experience. And in that sense he works every day, trying to improve and grow. After all, that's the main goal."
Guerrero is currently a regular with Roma's Primavera team.
