Athletic Bilbao president Jon Uriarte was proud of the club after winning the Copa del Rey.
It was the first time in 40 years that Athletic have won the Copa.
Uriarte said: "It's incredible, after 40 years to lift this title again is impressive.
"I had the mayor, the lehendakari, at my side, they had tears in their eyes.
"Then I was talking to Iribar, talking and hugging me, and I was crying and that is a reflection of what it took to get this title, those years of drought that we have finally ended."
