Athletic Bilbao striker Nico Williams has shutdown all his social media accounts.
Williams made the decision after the online abuse that has flooded in after last night's Copa del Rey semifinal defeat to Osasuna.
The Spain international missed two clear chances as Athletic lost to Osasuna.
Older brother and Athletic teammate Inaki said at the final whistle: "More than anyone else I know what happens when you fail and I know what my brother will be going through.
"In life you lose more than you win and there is no other choice but to make an effort and keep working. My brother has a great future and this will serve as a lesson for him . It's time to push forward."
