Athletico Paranaense president Mario Celso Petraglia admits Europe's biggest clubs are in contact for Vitor Roque.
Likened to Gremio star Luis Suarez, 17 year-old striker Roque is a target for Barcelona, Arsenal and Newcastle United.
"There is a race for Vitor Roque," said Petraglia.
"We cannot pay what the European teams pay. We have already received calls and offers, but they have not reached what we asked for.
"There is still a long way to go."
Petraglia is demanding 35-40m to sell Roque.
