Atletico Madrid ace Joao Felix insists he never heard from Manchester United over the summer.
Felix was among a number of high-profile players linked with late switches to Old Trafford as Erik ten Hag and Co scrambled to get major deals secured before the deadline.
Indeed, it was even widely reported at one stage that United had seen a €130million (£113m) bid for Felix rejected by the LaLiga outfit.
For his part, Felix insists that interest from United never reached him and would have been dismissed by Atletico chief Enrique Cerezo.
The Portuguese, an international colleague of Cristiano Ronaldo, told Marca: “I didn't hear anything… so that was something for the president to deal with."
