Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone insists their Copa del Rey semifinal with Athletic Bilbao can still be won.
Alex Berenguer's penalty sees Athletic take a 1-0 lead back to Bilbao.
Simeone said: "For me the boys played a very good match, mistakes are paid for in these qualifying rounds. We worked very well in the first half and better in the second when we were in the rival field.
"We had goal chances, we couldn't finish them, but don't worry, this is the way.
"They are ahead, they play at home but we will go and play for the possibilities that remain.
"There is an advantage, they play at home, with their people... They have an advantage, but football is football and anything can always happen.
"I always value the result, it is what interests people, but we come from a very good season and it can happen, not having had the precision of other moments. We have to continue generating chances as we generated them, the team had chances to tie and it is the way."
