Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone says they won't push Antoine Griezmann to make a playing return.
Ahead of facing Almeria, Simeone confirmed they will give Griezmann time to recover from an ankle sprain suffered against Inter Milan.
The coach said: "We are not going to force Griezmann at all, he will return when he is well.
"We are not going to force any player."
Jose Gimenez also broke down in the Champions League clash.
Simeone added: "He is a very important player for us, beyond his injuries he is working to recover, we need him and we hope he can return as soon as possible."
