Atletico Madrid and Portugal great Paulo Futre feels there's problems between Joao Felix and coach Diego Simeone.
Futre was speaking after Atletico's Champions League elimination following last night's 2-2 draw with Bayer Leverkusen.
"I'm worried about the relationship between them Simeone and João Félix. I think there's more to it," said Futre on El Larguero.
"I started by thinking it was a punishment, something of a father and son relationship. But now I'm worried. I thought that João Félix had said something, that he wasn't training, but I don't think so."
In the aftermath of Wednesday's tie, Futre also addressed the penalty missed by Yann Carrasco at 2-2 in the last play of the game.
"I thought João Félix was going to take the ball and score the penalty," before taking this episode to talk about the Portuguese's future at Atlético de Madrid. "I don't know what will happen in January, but I told him that he has to give everything and work harder than ever, for sure he will have an opportunity."
