Atletico Madrid have moved to open new contract talks with coach Diego Simeone.
The Argentine appeared set to leave Atleti last season, but now management are in talks about a new extension. Simeone's current deal expires in June.
Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito, said: "Atltico de Madrid has approached Diego Pablo Simeone to start the coach's renewal process.
"His contract expires on June 30 and they have already addressed him.
"They want to renew him down. He charges 18m net per season, plus two in variables."
