Atletico Madrid are fuming this morning after Ivan Provedel's equaliser for Lazio last night.
Atletico returned home from Rome with a point from their opening Champions League clash after drawing 1-1 at Lazio.
Lazio goalkeeper Provedel headed home a 95th minute equaliser for the hosts. But Atleti insists there was a foul on Angel Correa in the build-up.
We thought he would blow the whistle on Correa, but no," Saul Niguez later said.
Fullback Samuel Lino also joined in: "We saw it in the locker room and it seems very clear: there is a hold by the Lazio player on Correa, it should have been a punishment for us."
Ex-ref Eduardo Iturralde Gonzalez also said reviewing the incident: "He grabs him, he holds his shirt and that grip doesn't allow him to gain speed, making him lose the advantage he has."
