Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is coy on plans to sign Sofyan Amrabat.
The Fiorentina midfielder has been released from Morocco's squad to sort out his club future.
Cerezo said: "The managers of the technical area are working to set up the team. The secretariat does this job, we await orders and news from them."
Cerezo also admitted Joao Felix could be sold.
He added: "If there's a team that might be interested, it's very likely yes. If not, he'll remain a player for Atletico Madrid. We're talking about one of the best strikers in Europe, he still has to prove his worth."
