Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo insists they can make a late season push for the LaLiga.
Atletico have been the form team of the LaLiga since the World Cup.
They have won their last six games and Cerezo said: "If this continues like this, there are still nine games to be played, with 27 points at stake, which give us some chance to reach the championship.
"We would have to win every game and hope that Barcelona and Real Madrid lose.
"In the resumption of the League after the World Cup, we have achieved a good fit between the team and a great understanding between the players and the coach to play as Atltico de Madrid should."
