Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann was delighted scoring in their Champions League win against Lazio.
Griezmann struck in the 2-0 win on the night.
He later said: I am very happy with the three points, to be first. In the end it was important, wasn't it? Being first, we always want to win matches and also to do it in-front of our fans.
As for my goal it was a really good assist from Samu [Lino], we are getting to know each-other better as the matches go and we are enjoying it.
There has been a change in the connection between the fans and the players. The club has made an effort to understand the players and that has taken us here, to a moment where we are very strong at home, very difficult to beat and for us it's a joy to play with this atmosphere and it gives us wings, so let's keep it up."
