Tottenham defender defender Sergio Reguilon will be sent back to the club in the summer.
The left-back is on loan at Atletico Madrid until the end of this season.
However, Estadio Deportivo suggests the Madrid giants have no intention of signing him permanently.
He has failed to live up to expectations at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium club.
Reguilon has not been a regular under Diego Simeone and will have to find a new team in the summer.
Spurs are unlikely to hold onto him either, given manager Antonio Conte does not play with classic full-backs.
