The August Twenty One Movement (ATOM) on Thursday criticized Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla for dropping the ball on catching big fish politicians.
In particular, Remulla made admissions on having difficulty in arresting the likes of former Congressman Zaldy Co, Senator Bato dela Rosa and Atong Ang.
“We understand that there is intelligence information that seems to point to their actual locations,” ATOM said.
“This defeatist culture reminds us more of the Duterte followers, especially on social media, who practically adopted this same defeatist narrative regarding the foreign country that keeps harassing our Filipino fishermen in the West Philippine Sea,” it added.
