- Celebrated British author Ian McEwan is set to release his collected nonfiction writings in a full-length volume titled Between Books on 25 May.
- Published by Alfred A. Knopf, it marks the first major non-fiction work from the Booker Prize-winning novelist.
- The volume ranges from "intimate personal recollection to bold intellectual enquiry," combining previously published pieces and unreleased work, alongside a newly written introduction from McEwan, according to Knopf.
- The 78-year-old author said that he "started out contemplating a ragbag of disparate pieces and ended up with what I hope is an emotional and intellectual journey."
- McEwan is best known for novels such as Atonement, Amsterdam, and The Innocent.
