BEAUFORT: Two men were arrested after attempting to smuggle animal products into the neighbouring states without a permit during an inspection of a lorry at Jalan Klias Baru Beaufort-Papar, here, Friday.
The lorry, driven by two men aged between 20 and 30, also carried chicken eggs.
District Police Chief DSP Ismail Abdullah said following inspection, they found various parts of frozen chicken and eggs of different grades.
