  • The three victims killed in a mass shooting in Austin, Texas, Sunday have been identified as Jorge Pederson, 30, Ryder Harrington, 19, and Savitha Shan, 21.
  • A total of 13 others were wounded before the suspected gunman, Ndiaga Diagne, 53, was fatally shot by Austin Police at Buford's beer garden in the city’s busy entertainment district.
  • Diagne opened fire from an SUV and then on foot with a handgun and rifle just before 2 a.m., police said.
  • The FBI is investigating terrorism as a potential motive after the shooter was pictured wearing a sweatshirt with "Property of Allah" written on it, and an Iranian-flag motif shirt. The attack came hours after the US and Israel’s joint strikes on Iran.
  • Diagne, a naturalized US citizen of Senegalese origin, was not previously known to the Austin Police Department or the FBI.
