Avenged Sevenfold brings its Asia tour to Kuala Lumpur this September, marking its first Malaysia show since 2015
Rock fans in Malaysia are set for a long-awaited return as Avenged Sevenfold adds Kuala Lumpur to its upcoming Asia tour.
The band is scheduled to perform at Unifi Arena KL on Sept 26 for Avenged Sevenfold Live in Malaysia, marking its first show in the country in over a decade.
Organised by Hitman Solutions, the concert is expected to draw fans across generations, with a setlist that spans the band’s biggest releases alongside newer material.
Formed in 1999, Avenged Sevenfold has spent nearly three decades shaping modern heavy metal through a mix of melodic elements, heavy riffs and genre-crossing influences. The band continues to build a global following, with its sound evolving across albums while staying rooted in its signature style.

For Malaysian fans, the return carries added significance. The band last performed here in 2015 during its Hail to the King Southeast Asia tour. Since then, it has released The Stage and Life Is But a Dream…, expanding its catalogue while introducing a new phase of its sound.
Fan favourites such as Nightmare, Hail to the King, and Afterlife remain part of its live appeal, alongside newer tracks that reflect its continued experimentation.
According to Hitman Group CEO Rohit Rampal, demand for the band’s return has remained consistent over the years.
He said Avenged Sevenfold is one of the most-requested acts among local fans, with frequent messages and comments asking about a potential stop in Malaysia. Securing Kuala Lumpur as part of the tour, he added, reflects the promoter’s focus on bringing in acts that audiences have been actively waiting for.

Tickets go on sale starting April 7 at 11am for artist pre-sale, followed by general sales on April 8 at 12pm. Prices range from RM299 to RM699 for seated categories, with a Rockzone standing section priced at RM499, excluding booking fees.
The tickets can be purchased here.
With more than a decade since their last show, the upcoming concert signals not just a return, but a continuation – one that brings long-time listeners and newer fans together in a shared live experience.
