A new community platform, The Average Malaysian, has officially launched – giving everyday Malaysians the power to access and compare what the rakyat really thinks, using data built from real opinions.
What began as an Instagram page with over 550+ polls and 240,000+ votes, has now evolved into a dedicated website that lets users explore public sentiment across everything from national issues to everyday events.
The platform’s goal is simple: to make data on Malaysian opinions accessible to everyone – not just organisations and policymakers. Users can explore polls results and even filter insights by salary, age group, state, or other demographics to see how different Malaysians think.
The website also encourages users to ask honest poll questions. Top voted questions will be published and open for the public to exchange opinions. The poll of the day creates a living pulse of Malaysian sentiment, and every vote paints a more accurate picture.
