I enjoyed eating Japanese food because in mid 1970s - early 1980s for almost one decade I served as Personnel & Administration Manager with two joint venture Japanese MNCs; Toyobo Co. Ltd & Kanematsu Gosho Ltd for their manufacturing plants in Malaysia. Plant cafeteria provided Japanese dishes for lunch and management staff required to eat together in order to quickly touch base on work matters resolving HR and operation problems amicably. I had visited Japan many times for job attachments at the Head Office in Osaka and Tokyo as well as worked at the manufacturing plants in various prefectures.

Thus, I developed liking to Japanese cuisine that offers a great variety of dishes and regional specialties, especially seafood dishes. They are prepared and eaten in many ways such as raw, dried, boiled, grilled, deep fried or steamed. Nowadays, meat has been eaten in Japan in larger amounts. Yakiniku means “grilled meat” mostly beef and lamb. The specialized F&B outlets are among the most popular restaurants and usually serve a wide variety of meat parts.

The delicious Halal Japanese Wagyu Beef Grade A5 are available in Malaysia with affordable prices especially at Awagyu Yakiniku outlets. I understand Awagyu has a special farm in Tokushima, Japan, which means that our family, colleagues & friends can enjoy the freshest and safest wagyu beef cuts for diners. Wagyu provides tasty and healthy eating, which people increasingly pay attention in this era. I noticed these restaurants had obtained permit from relevant Malaysian authorities & also certified by the Muslim Professionals Japan Association (MPJA), ensuring that the Wagyu beef serve are all Halal. Just a few steps from Awagyu Yakiniku IOI Mall Putrajaya is Kenny Hills Bakers serving great coffee, amazing handmade pastries, cakes & organic breads. Despite both cafes located in the buzz of Southeast Asia's largest mall, the atmosphere remains relaxed, making it an ideal place for good conversations.
