AYALA Malls, the retail arm of Ayala Land Inc., has continued to expand its footprint in Metro Manila with the opening last Friday of Ayala Malls Arca South, described as a “third space” designed to complement work and home life.

Located within the Arca South estate in Taguig, the new mall features open-air walkways, green spaces and sun-lit interiors intended to create a relaxed, community-centric environment.

The development is built around accessibility, the company said, with integrated basement parking and direct access via the Metro Manila Skyway East Service Road.

A key feature of the mall is “Fresh Grounds,” described as Ayala Malls’ first roastery zone, that brings together artisanal coffee and pastry cafés, including local brand Ahon Coffee, Malaysia’s JB Kopitiam and Vietnamese-inspired Saigon Coffee.

The mall also houses “The Crates,” a market-style section offering regional delicacies, fresh produce and flower stalls.

Outdoor food trucks and dining outlets further diversify the selection, with brands such as Cibo, Yushoken, Mos Burger and German Doner Kebab.

To mark opening month, Ayala Malls Arca South staged Valentine’s weekend activities featuring creative installations, vintage photo booths, a live musical performance and an outdoor screening of romantic comedies.

The mall is also hosting zodiac displays and traditional dragon and lion dances in celebration of the Year of the Fire Horse.

Ayala Malls said more stores and experiences were set to open as the Arca South estate continues to develop.

Ayala Land shares on Friday closed at P20.65 each, down P0.65 or 3.05 percent.
