BARISAN Nasional (BN) candidate for the Ayer Kuning state by-election, Dr Mohamad Yusri Bakir, has presented his campaign manifesto featuring three core pledges and seven key offers aimed at improving the quality of life for local residents.
Dr Yusri said the manifesto was crafted following discussions with voters during his campaign trail, and is grounded in the actual needs and aspirations of the people.
The three central pledges forming the foundation of his vision are: to safeguard unity and harmony; to reject racial sentiments and hate politics; and to integrate socio-economic initiatives within the Ayer Kuning constituency in alignment with the Perak Sejahtera 2030 development plan.
Alongside these pledges, Dr Yusri outlined seven principal offers encompassing economic development, the cost of living, infrastructure upgrades, education, and quality service delivery from the state assembly representative.
“These pledges and offers are not mere political promises, but rather a declaration of my commitment and responsibility should I be entrusted with the mandate on 26 April,” he said.
“This manifesto is not just a political pitch. It represents my vow to be present on the ground, to provide the best service, to listen to the people, and to work tirelessly to ensure that every promise made is fulfilled with integrity and responsibility.
“God willing, if I am given the trust to serve as the people's representative in this constituency, I will ensure that the vision of ‘Ayer Kuning Sejahtera Bersama’ (A Prosperous Ayer Kuning Together) becomes a reality. I seek the support and trust of all voters in Ayer Kuning to help bring this vision to life,” he added.
The announcement was also attended by MCA President Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong and MIC Deputy President cum Tapah MP, Datuk Seri M. Saravanan. - April 20, 2025
