An Ayurvedic health camp was organised at Shivalik International Convent School, Nangal Chowk, with the aim of promoting health awareness and a healthy lifestyle among students. A team from the AYUSH Department and Ayurvedic Health Centre, Lower Bathra, participated in the camp. During the programme, AYUSH Medical Officer and ENT Specialist Dr Navdeep Kumar educated the students about the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle, maintaining a balanced diet, and incorporating Ayurveda into daily life. He also made the students aware of seasonal diseases, cleanliness, and necessary health precautions. Additionally, he informed the girl students about the importance and health benefits of HPV vaccination. Ayurvedic Pharmacist Rajinder Kumar provided valuable information about Ayurvedic medicines and their benefits. Yoga Instructor Aniket guided the students on maintaining physical and mental well-being through yoga and pranayama. The school management and teachers expressed their gratitude to the AYUSH Department team.
