Former PSG defensive midfielder Thiago Motta has hailed the impact of summer arrival Idrissa Gueye.
The midfielder has been outstanding since his arrival from Everton.
Motta told Canal Football Club: "He is not my successor. I think he's a very good player, he just has to be himself and he can give Marco Verratti this support, give him a little more freedom.
"He is a recovery player, but he has a good pass too, he is well positioned on the field, he is very intelligent. He has everything to play well at Paris Saint Germain."
