The moped gang that attacked Arsenal pair Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac were after their watches, it has been revealed.
The Sun says dramatic footage shows 26-year-old Kolasinac - nicknamed The Tank - leaping from the 100,000 motor and fighting off the attackers with his bare hands last night.
The childhood pals were then led on a mile-long chase in Ozil's 100,000 Mercedes G-Class SUV through Golders Green, North London, before fleeing into a Turkish restaurant.
It is understood the knife-wielding thugs, who were wearing helmets, were targeting the pair for their watches.
The attackers ambushed the players at Kolasinac's mansion in leafy Childs Hill at around 5pm and demanded Ozil hand over his watch, a source claimed.
