
KUALA TERENGGANU: A 16-month-old baby girl died after allegedly being left inside a car at a public university in the Kuala Nerus district yesterday.
Kuala Terengganu police chief Abd Rahim Din said police received a report about the toddler who had died when brought to the students’ health centre at the university at about 4.30pm yesterday.
“A post-mortem was conducted at the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital last night.
“Police are awaiting the report to find out the cause of death,” he said when contacted here today.

An investigation paper has been opened under Section 31 (1) (a) of the Child Act 2001.
