As EXO’s solo concerts become a recurring highlight in Malaysia, Baekhyun is the latest to answer fans’ demands. His inaugural ‘Reverie’ world tour, kicking off in Seoul this summer, will include a stop in Kuala Lumpur on 23 August—a single-night event marking another major K-pop moment for local fans. Here’s what we know so far.
Baekhyun to embark on his first world tour with concert stop in Malaysia
For the first time since his debut, EXO member Baekhyun will hold his first solo tour. The upcoming tour coincides with the release of his fifth solo EP, ‘Essence of Reverie’, on 19 June.
The tour will start in Seoul in June, followed by various cities in Latin America. Then, Baekhyun will perform in cities across the US before heading to Europe and Australia. The Asia leg of the tour will begin in Jakarta, and Baekhyun will put on an incredible show across Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Bangkok, Tokyo, Taipei, and Hong Kong. And before the year ends, Baekhyun will dazzle the stage in Hanoi, Kobe, Manila, Nagoya, and Singapore.
Baekhyun’s Malaysian concert will take place on 23 August at Idea Live KL, a new entertainment venue set to redefine live experiences in the region. With a capacity of 5,000, this state-of-the-art arena marks the country’s largest indoor performance space inside a shopping mall.
