
KOTA BELUD: A local was arrested and three bakakuks (handmade shotguns) and six live bullets were seized in a police raid on an unnumbered house in Kg Kelawat, here, last Wednesday.
Kota Belud District Police Chief Supt Shahrudin Mat Husain said the Criminal Investigation Division conducted the 11am raid following monitoring and intelligence.
He said a 43-year-old local, who is the owner of the house, was also arrested.
According to Shahrudin, the man and seized items were taken to the district police station for further action.

He urged the public to cooperate by channelling information on suspicious activities to the police.
