Effective 3 March 2025, Bank Islam will begin the automatic and phased migration of users from its existing GO mobile banking application to the newly introduced BIMB Mobile app. This transition aims to offer customers a more seamless, secure, and user-friendly digital banking experience.

Unveiled in November 2024, BIMB Mobile introduces an improved interface, enhanced security features, and greater flexibility. Unlike its predecessor, it operates independently from internet banking, ensuring uninterrupted access even during maintenance. The app also includes new functionalities, such as balance-hiding options, account customisation, and a security ‘kill switch’ to protect users from fraud.

Bank Islam encourages all customers to download BIMB Mobile ahead of the transition for a smooth migration. The app is available on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery. For further details, customers can visit Bank Islam’s official website.
