Jules Kounde has revealed it was 'very tempting' to join Manchester City after his first season with Sevilla.
Kounde has revealed how a phone call from City boss Pep Guardiola almost convinced him to leave Sevilla after his first season in 2020.
On reported contact with Guardiola, Kounde said: "Yes, but after my first season at Sevilla. It was very tempting.
"[At that time] I had also decided that it was my first year there and that I could not force anything.
"Yes, [he called again] this summer, but players had to leave the club first."
