Barcelona have announced the sale of ten per cent of their television rights to the tune of €267m.
Barca have sold the cut to US investment company Sixth Street Partners for the next 25 years.
The amount will allow Barc to close the 2021/22 financial year with positive numbers and, in addition, begin to reduce its debt.
Sixth Street will initially invest €207.5m and will receive the economic benefit of 10% of the club's TV rights, coming from LaLiga for the next 25 years.
If they had not made any move, Barça would have ended the financial year with losses of €150m.
