Sky Sports says Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are both interested in the Japan international.
Kamada is off contract in June and Eintracht Frankfurt have announced he will leave this summer.
His Bosman status suits Barca, given their financial issues with LaLiga, while Atletico are seeking to boost midfield numbers this summer.
