Barcelona chief Mateo Alemany has confirmed talks with agents for Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan.
Gundogan is off contract at the end of the season.
Alemany said, "It's my duty to know that Gndogan is free in the summer and we spoke to his uncle, who is also (Andreas)Christensen's agent at the same time.
We only talked about Christensen, his achievements and how happy we are with him as a footballer.
"He was a very good transfer from us, but that's all there is to it."
