Barcelona sporting director Jordi Cruyff admits the manner of their Copa defeat to Real Madrid wasn't good enough.

Barca leading 1-0 from the first-leg were thrashed at home 4-0 in the second-leg of their semifinal by Real.

Cruyff later said: "Going 0-2 down in the 50th minute did us a lot of damage, because that meant having to open up and leave spaces for a team like Madrid. We have to take note of this and improve, not only for the next games.

"We feel bad for the fans because the game didn't turn out the way we wanted.

"On Monday we're going to need them a lot to forget this result and think about the next league game." he said.
