Barcelona chief Deco has made contact with Everton for Amadou Onana.
The midfielder has emerged as a top target for Barca as Deco seeks to stiffen up their midfield after Sergi Busquets' departure last summer.
Sport says Deco has asked Everton to name their price for Onana.
Having signed Onana for 35m, Everton are now demanding 60m to sell the Belgian this summer.
For Deco and Barca, they see Onana's price closer to 40m.
