Barcelona coach Xavi admits no final decision has been made on Alejandro Balde's injury recovery.
The wing-back has suffered a hamstring injury and is facing potentially a four month absence.
Xavi said today: "We were meeting with him and his family. He must decide the treatment. We will be with him and we will support him. It's a difficult moment and we'll see what he decides.
"According to the doctors it is different. I am not a doctor and I cannot give an opinion, but he is very young and the decision is his. He has a career ahead of him and may he recover as best as possible, whether with surgery or not.
"In that he is similar to Ansu, but not medically."
