Barcelona coach Xavi admits fans will have enjoyed Manchester City's thrashing of Real Madrid.
City, under former Barca coach Pep Guardiola, thumped Real 4-0 in the second-leg of their Champions League semifinal.
Xavi laughed: "It was a joy for the Catalans, but we professionals attach great importance to the championship. What matters is not that Real lose, the thermometer is to see the joy of the fans.
"City deserved it, was far superior. They are the best team in the world.
"Would I change our season for Real's? For no reason: we have to remember where we were last year."
