Barcelona coach Xavi insists defeat to Real Madrid was undeserved.
Barca lost 2-1, with Jude Bellingham scoring the visitors' winner in injury-time.
Xavi said: "I think we dominated the first 60 minutes, but when you don't make it 2-0, football has these things. We need five or six (chances) to score a goal and they (Madrid) need two or three to score two goals.
"I think that even the draw was not enough for us, while that they were even happy with a draw, but that unfortunate cross came in. A very bad result but with a good performance."
In the first half, Bellingham was missing because of Gavi's performance.
Xavi said: "(Gavi) is the soul of the team. He did very well today, playing at the base, as a pivot. He was very good. Defensively, his role was to win balls back and be aggressive.
"We played the game very well with the three-man back line and creating situations of superiority, but it's true that in the last few minutes, they made us suffer, but I sincerely believe that we were superior, but Madrid, if you let them off, have these things."
