Barcelona coach Xavi was pleased with their 5-0 rout of Royal Antwerp on Tuesday night.
Barca kicked off their Champions League campaign with a superb performance as Joao Felix struck twice on the night.
Xavi said, "I'm very satisfied. Very happy with this result, but above all with the quality of our play right now. Between this win and the 5-0 against Betis on Saturday I think these are probably the best quality of play we've produced since I took over. This is the road we want to be on. The team's making me proud.
"We've added players who've improved the group we had but, in general, we are playing at a high level. Gndogan is a marvel, there's nothing I need to tell him. He's that good. Cancelo too. The other Joo just 'gets' it right away. He understands the playing style. He understands his role in it to perfection. We need to keep up the concentration and the intensity. Van Bommel told me he thinks we have a very good team."
He added: "Joo Flix has innate quality. That's the number one reason why he's been able to fit in so well so quickly. But he, and all my players, are enjoying themselves. We are playing better football than before - probably the best football since I took over."
