The veteran, who has not yet been offered a new deal, could be heading to Spain.
Barca, who secured the likes of Frank Kessie, Marcos Alonso, Hector Bellerin and Andreas Christensen on free transfers last term, are plotting another such deal.
The Telegraph states that the 32-year-old will have his choice to make in the summer.
