Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo says winning the Supercopa was key to their run of form this year.
Barca are now free and clear at the top of the LaLiga table.
Araujo told Jijantes: "Yes, winning it gave us a lot of confidence and even more so against Real Madrid. It has given us extra peace of mind.
"Pedri is Harry Potter, I'm amazed by what he does on the field, it's pure magic, and Gavi is special, we all know what he is, he doesn't have any evil, it's just his way of playing, he's intense. In training he also gives a few kicks."
On facing Manchester United in their Europa League playoff, Araujo also said: "The team is fine and I'm in the best moment of my career, but to win this game, we need people to fill the Camp Nou."
