Barcelona goalkeeper Neto is digging in his heels at the Nou Camp.
The goalkeeper, 32, has taken the decision to reject all the offers that he has and complete the year of contract he has left. He has told the club and his agents, says Sport.
The problem for Barcelona is that he has a high wage and the club were counting on him leaving.
The decision comes as a surprise given that he has received offers to sign from Brazil and Italy. He played in the latter with Fiorentina and Juventus before moving to Valencia.
Lazio would like to sign him, but for now Neto is not interested. He has an Italian passport which makes him appealing to European sides as he doesn't count as a Non-EU spot.
Barcelona want him to go but the player has decided to stay and that came as a surprise, even to his agents.
