Barcelona midfielder Gavi has won the Golden Boy award.
He takes on the mantel from Barca teammate Pedri González, winner of last season's edition.
The Andalusian is now regarded the best under 21 player in Europe, having just turned 18.
Gavi will receive the award on November 7 in Turin. The recognition arrives shortly after winning the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d'Or gala.
