The buyout clause in the current contract of Barcelona midfielder Gavi will increase this month.
The Spain international has attracted interested from several European clubs and it is believed that Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester City would be willing to trigger his 50 million euro buyout clause.
However, there is a deadline concerning the validity of this clause, as it will increase to 100m euros this June, as stated in the contract he signed in September 2020, reports Marca.
Despite the fact that Gavi's progress has been spectacular over the last year, there would not be many suitors willing to pay 100m euros for the youngster.
