Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan was visibly upset as he was forced off for Germany in last night's win against France.
After just 25 minutes, Gndogan was taken off after suffering a nasty fall which saw him land on his lower back.
The Germany captain was upset as he departed, though there's no news on the extent of the injury.
The midfielder will undergo a scan today to assess the damage.
Germany caretaker coach Rudi Vller tried to calm tensions after the game by saying that Gndogan's injury is a bruise" and not a fracture".
