Barcelona have been offered a club in the Qatar Stars League.
Cataluyna Radio is reporting the Qataris have offered naming rights to Barca for the formation of the club.
And the agreement would be worth 100m-a-year to Barca.
The proposal is now in front of Barca president Joan Laporta, who is discussing it with fellow board members.
While attractive, Laporta recognises the club's statutes are likely to have to be changed to accommodate the new international team.
