Former Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has revealed the current regime have considered tearing up his membership.
Bartomeu has been a member since 1974 and says he received a letter from Barca at the beginning of the summer that an investigation was being held into his membership.
Barca have stated they have grounds given Bartomeu's alleged involvement in the Barca-gate affair.
The file opened on Bartomeu is still in the process of being investigated.
